Speciation analysis
Speciation analysis is a field of metallomics that aims at the identification and quantification of the different chemical and physical forms of an element in a sample. This can be achieved by combining chromatographic separation and elemental analysis. Our group applies speciation analysis to investigate complex research questions in the fields of cancer and neurodegenerative diseases research.

- Quantification of ferritin bound iron in murine samples for Alzheimer’s disease studies using species-specific isotope dilution mass spectrometry
